11:30am - 12:15pm

At the beginning of the year, AWI members participated in a survey regarding their practices and experiences conducting workplace investigations. The three presenters, who designed and conducted the survey, will reveal some of the much-anticipated results, focusing on what our members’ experiences have been as a result of having been compelled to testify about their own investigations. What were they surprised to learn? What can other investigators anticipate when it is their turn on the hot seat? What are some of the ways in which members have changed their investigative practices after experiencing cross-examination? Does it matter whether you are an inside or outside investigator? Attorney or non-attorney? Have ten investigations under your belt or more than 100? These are some of the questions the presenters will explore, and will offer some practical take-aways as a result of the survey results.
