Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be an AWI member to register/attend?

No, you don't have to be a member. However, AWI members receive a discounted registration rate, plus a full year of AWI membership benefits! To take advantage of the discount, join now or renew now if your membership has expired.

How do I login and register for the conference?

Both members and nonmembers need to log in to register for events. If you have an exisitng user profile on the AWI website (member or nonmember), login here. If you need to, you may reset your password here.

If you are a nonmember, you need to create a record in the system; we will require your first and last name, organization, email, username and password. Create a login here.

Can I register multiple attendees at one time?

No. All users have personal user IDs and passwords so they must log in and register separately to get the member rate, and non-members are also identified by individual emails and must register separately. If you have information to register for multiple people, please make sure to log out and log back in after each registration, otherwise you will overwrite the prior registration.

If you have a group of 5 or more at full conference fee (full member or non-member rate) contact the AWI office to book and receive the discounted rate of 10% off for groups of 5 or more.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes. We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. Payment may also be made by check. Checks can be mailed to the AWI Office after submitting your registration form. Registrants must pay in advance of attending the conference.

What is the cancellation / refund policy?

To receive a registration refund, less a $50 processing fee, all cancellations must be received via this form by August 30, 2019 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. No refunds will be granted thereafter. No-shows will not be refunded. Registrations can be transferred to another person within your organization with the same membership status by contacting office@awi.org.


What meals are included with the conference fee?

The conference fee includes: Continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday; Lunch on Friday; Morning breaks on Friday and Saturday and an afternoon break on Thursday and Friday.
