AWI Seeks Institute Certificate Program Accreditation
The Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) has applied to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for accreditation of the certificate program AWI has developed and implemented this year as part of its Training Institute for Workplace Investigators (Institute).
AWI filed its accreditation application under ANSI Standard E2659-15, entitled Standard Practice for Certificate Programs. The accreditation process is well underway, and AWI anticipates that ANSI will make a decision on its accreditation application later this year.
The AWI Institute has been in operation since 2012. It is a week-long training and testing program for individuals who perform or manage impartial workplace investigations.
The testing was added to the Institute this year as part of the certificate program. It consists of a knowledge test, and interviewing assessment, and an analysis and report writing assessment.
If ANSI grants accreditation, students who attend the Institute and pass the tests will be able to use the designation Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder and the acronym AWI-CH. Read More.
