LAUNCH: AAWI in Perth, Western Australia
In late 2016 we announced the establishment of the Australasian Association of Workplace Investigators (AAWI). The AAWI is a Chapter of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) which is based in the United States.
AAWI is a professional membership organisation providing support to employment lawyers, human resources professionals, investigators, psychologists, mediators, and many others who conduct, manage or have a professional interest in impartial workplace investigations throughout Australia and New Zealand. We will achieve this through the establishment of communities of practice (AAWI Circles), conferences and other educational activities.
AAWI has already established chapters in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
We now invite you to attend the Perth Launch of AAWI. Given the type of work your organisation does in this space, we would love to have you involved in the AAWI.
The launch will be a great opportunity to connect with other highly experienced workplace investigators and associated professionals. Learn more about how AAWI can support you or your organisation and create long lasting networks.
We are delighted to announce the launch will be opened by Retired West Australian Chief Industrial Relations Commissioner (WAIRC) Mr Anthony Beech. Mr Beech was the WAIRC Chief Commissioner for 12 years and has had a career dedicated to industrial relations on both sides of the bench, including work in which investigations have played a part.
